I'm Sarani, a 21-year-old French bioinformatics student with quite a few interests.

I love cooking, especially hot Indian cuisine (think authentic chilies, not just a pinch of paprika!). This is my online cookbook, where I post my fav recipes in order to find them faster when I need to.

Curious about a few things?

Sharing a hostel with roommates back in 2019-2020 sparked my love for Indian cuisine and Indian culture in general.

I've already been to India, more precisely in the state of Odisha, as well as the city of Kolkata. It was the 20th country I've visited !

Born and raised in Réunion Island, I've also lived in Polynesia and Morocco.

While I am still learning Hindi and Odia, I'm fluent in English, French and Reunionese Creole. I also speak Spanish and Japanese (however rusty because of a lack of practice in the last 5y).

A platypus ? Although I am passionate by platypuses & have been to Australia, I've never seen one in real life... yet !

I might start posting videos on my youtube channel, who knows ?
