Easy French Quiche recipe
Preheat the oven at 180°C.
Unroll the pie crust and press it into a suitable pie plate.
Saute and/or steam any vegetable you have chosen (broccoli is my all-time favorite). If you want to add diced bacon, don't forget to cook it too. There is no need to pre-cook ham, canned salmon or tuna. Make sure to discard any excess water.
In a bowl, whisk 4 eggs with a glass of milk. Add salt, pepper, nutmeg to taste.
Add your garniture in the egg/dairy mix and pour it on the pie crust. Sprinkle grated cheese.
Bake for 45-50min depending on the oven.
Bon appétit !

- Make sure everything you add to the quiche is pre-cooked, otherwise it will release water while cooking and result in a soggy, watery and uncooked quiche.
- You can make the pie crust yourself, and I will post a recipe someday.
- The filling possibilities are almost endless: spinach/canned salmon, broccoli/canned tuna, traditional diced bacon... However, I do not recommend using mozzarella, as it releases too much water.
Feel free to experiment by adding different spices and condiments such as paprika, powdered chillies, chilli flakes, cumin/coriander powder, roasted garlic, or sun-dried tomatoes.
